“Big Heart, Little Minds with Laura and CC has been an irreplaceable experience for my Little Mind! Laura & CC give my Little Mind a space not only to learn about emotions, how to recognise and handle these emotions but somewhere to express her emotions and have them listened to and understood. Laura has been a shoulder to cry on when as a parent, I’ve worried about handling those big emotions - which really is going over and above what she needs to do! We have taken part in BHLM Online videos throughout lockdown and we have enjoyed taking part together; I’ve been getting to learn all these skills my Little Mind now knows, to help her with her emotions. And as if that wasn’t enough, my Little Mind has made some of the best friends.”

“My son attends Little Minds and absolutely loves it. Lorna & Laura are very friendly & supportive to us. Thanks to the emotional check-in the class does, he’s able to tell me how he’s feeling at home. He leaves class telling me it was so much fun! So glad to have found these classes.”

“The classes with Laura have given my little girl and I tools to tackle emotions that I think will last forever! I’m so grateful for the little routines that Laura & CC have taught us; we have ways to talk about our feelings, we know how to use breathing techniques & we can be kind to ourselves. Everyone needs these skills in life and if we can teach our children them from a young age then what a gift. Thank you Laura & CC.”

“Laura has recently helped my son with his mindfulness by introducing some fun age appropriate breathing techniques. They have worked wonders in reducing his anxiety levels. Laura knows her stuff and connects with children wonderfully.”

“My little Sophia loves her Baby Minds classes! She always has a wee laugh and loves when Lorna is speaking to her. The classes are well run, the atmosphere is amazing and welcoming. You honestly feel as though you can say anything and it will be ok. Absolutely love being at Baby Minds with Sophia.”

“My daughter loves attending the BHLM classes. She runs in each week and embraces the activities. Laura provides such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for the children, whilst also providing a huge amount of support for parents. I believe everything this business & these 2 wonderful ladies are trying to promote and enhance in our children is so incredibly important for their future. I would highly recommend these classes to other parents.”

“My son loves when we are at Baby Minds class! Loves exploring all the different opportunities Lorna has set out. It’s also really nice to be able to go and communicate with other adults. Lorna also takes the time to speak and interact with each individual child which is lovely. Thank you’s!”

“My little boy attended Laura’s classes before starting nursery. I loved that the classes were so different to any other in the area. Laura is so passionate about what she does and just knows the right things to say/do for every child. Lorna is also super amazing and has the patience of a saint. I cannot recommend Big Heart, Little Minds enough.”

“Laura has helped my family enormously during the last 4 months during ‘lockdown.’ Her guidance and advice on dealing with challenging behaviours has been invaluable. I genuinely now find myself daily thinking about why my girls are behaving the way they are, rather than how to stop it (referring to ‘bad’ behaviour). Using this approach has changed our daily lives and all my girls are all totally happy to say how they are feeling on a daily basis - which enables me to see their needs and plan our days accordingly. It’s such a basic right that gets ignored so, so often. How we feel affects every part of our lives - Laura’s social media posts have highlighted this and helped us as a family to understand so much more than we did. The zoom classes we have taken part in have been so much fun for my 5 year old, and having the videos to watch at a time convenient to our family lives is brilliant.
Unfortunately, I can’t bring my girls to the actual real life class - as I live on the other side of the country - but I would if I could! My 7 year old uses the emotion cards most days, when she cant communicate how she’s feeling. They open up the conversation; that makes the difference between a good day and a bad day. So thankful for all the help Laura has given.
