As a community interest company, we rely on our community

You may have already read (here) that our voluntary projects are a significant part of what we do, this is because we wholeheartedly believe in accessible support for families and early intervention for children’s mental health, shouldn’t be based on funding.

Below, you can find more information on ways you can currently support the work we do. We are always looking for organisations, businesses and individuals to collaborate with and bring our community projects to life. Whether you can provide a space, a service, sponsorship, volunteers, donations or resources, we would love to hear from you.

We heavily rely on your word of mouth, support and resource donations to keep our community work going.

Winter well-being appeal 2023

Aerial Adventure Soft Play, The Centre Livingston

Last December we ran our first appeal. Our community groups “Mummy Minds,” are targeting social inclusion, well-being and children’s development. When speaking with our families, we learned that many found being at home with children tricky on cold, winter days. We wanted to make sure families got out the house throughout winter, without worrying about the cost.

We asked you to pledge to support our appeal by:

  • Donating - A donation of £4.50 covers:

1 x child entry to soft play

    1 x adult a hot drink & cake

  • Nominating/referring - Refer someone who would benefit from this appeal?

We raised enough to provide 36 session donations, allowing families who were nominated and/or referred to come to sessions at no extra cost.

Thank you to everyone who donated, shared and interacted with our socials to raise awareness of this campaign.

NEW: Summer saviour appeal

SUMMER HOLIDAYS 2024 | MULTIPLE EVENTS

For some families, the summer holidays can cause overwhelm and stress. Activities with a cost are a “luxury” and not a “necessity” for many. We want to take our families on outings & organise a treat for our Mummy Minds.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Donate or raise funds with us by joining our Sponsored Walk on the 25th of May. Can’t make it? You can hold your own fundraising activity; challenge your child to a Sponsored Silence, Sponsored device ban, or even hold a Bake Sale.

Your contribution can make a big difference to a families well-being this Summer.

To register for the Sponsored Walk, please click here.

To get a Sponsor Form sent to you for something other than the Sponsored Walk, please contact us.

Referrals for families will be available in to apply for in June, 2024.

resource donations

As part of our voluntary projects providing 1-1 emotional and cognitive support in schools, we are always looking for resources to help facilitate activities and learning opportunities with our children and young people.
